We’re living in the age of communication, and technology. With so much going on around us, we often lose sight of what is truly important. As a teenager, I used to dream of acquiring material things, I believed would make me happy. As I grew older, I realized that acquiring objects was just that, an accumulation of “stuff”, which really only made me happy for a very short time. As I pondered on all the things I purchased throughout the years, and making a quick calculation, I realized I could’ve well spent my youth traveling, rather than standing still on a pile of stuff. Signs kept coming my way, pointing me to drop my consumerist ways, and realize what an amazing world I was missing out on. After all, once you leave this magical world filled with beauty, all you have left are your experiences. Looking to make this new dream a reality, I researched places I should visit before I kick the bucket. Today, I am sharing this list with you, with hopes that if you make this happen before I do, you kindly share your experience here. Thanks in advance.
Places to see before kicking the bucket:
Havasu Falls & Antelope Canyon – Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA
Moraine Lake – Alberta, Canada
Machu Picchu – Peru
Iguazu Falls- Argentina
Maldives Beach – Republic of Maldives
Benagil Cave – Algarve, Portugal
Plitvice Lakes – Croatia
Venice – Italy
Whitehaven Beach – Australia
Namib Desert- Namibia
So, these are just a few of the many wondrous places around the world. It’s time to put that phone down, and start looking forward to experiencing the beautiful world that was given to us. We were meant to do more than just, work, sleep, and pay bills. Travel while you can!
